Q&A with the Truegame Team

Paxtadings: For those who are not familiar with Truegame, can you explain what it is, and what the team aims to accomplish?

Truegame: We are the first ICO with a fully working iGaming project that has received extremely positive feedback from the community.

Truegame is a truly unique iGaming product: users are already playing more than a dozen assorted games (scratch cards, prize draws, lotteries, gift boxes, etc.). We closed our private round of funding within 24 hours and even refused additional capital. We launched our product in conjunction with a team of specialists from the gambling industry, and now that we’ve proven our product, we are ready for scale-out and market expansion.

According to our roadmap, in the near future our platform will release almost every popular type of gambling game, running on blockchain smart contracts. We have a step-by-step program to develop our platform and a marketing campaign to attract and involve more people in the ICO and platform as well.

Paxtadings: How does the Truegame token (TGAME) function within the platform and why is it needed?

Truegame: After the ICO ends, TGAME will be used as an item for playing games and placing bets, as well as for collecting winnings. Also, players can withdraw it to their personal ETH wallets — our token is an ERC20 standard utility token released on the Ethereum platform.

Paxtadings: Your whitepaper states you are the “first fully working smart contract based gambling project ever coming on ICO.” Several other smart contract based gambling project ICOs are already operational, such as Etheroll. What about these projects do you consider not “fully working” that Truegame offers?

Truegame: What we meant here is that among other ICO projects, we are the first ones to begin our ICO with a fully implemented gaming platform. As far as we know, that is still the case. Even a year after their ICO’s completion, most projects cannot boast the degree of implementation and number of games that we have.

Paxtadings: Your roadmap mentions that you’ve obtained your gambling license. What jurisdictions does that allow you to operate in now and as you launch new products? What regulatory challenges are you most concerned about?

Truegame: We are already obtaining gaming licenses in two different jurisdictions (Malta and Curaçao). The licensing authorities have approved the project, and now we’re completing the final formalities.

Truegame operates strictly in accordance with legal requirements. If a country restricts gambling, we will not violate the laws of that country. In countries where games using cryptocurrencies are not considered gambling, we will accept only cryptocurrencies. And we’ll accept fiat only in those countries that allow it. We will not violate any law of any country that forbids gambling. For us, that’s a rule.

Paxtadings: Your 2017 platform launch included some prize draw, scratch card, and lottery games. Can you provide any metrics (user or dollar numbers) for how much activity your platform has seen? How many users do you expect, and how many can your infrastructure support?

Truegame: We started with a focus group of several hundred players last year. Users play on the platform every day. Recent info about the games played and winnings won can be verified on the public blockchain.

Paxtadings: The Truegame website mentions “advanced privacy.” What privacy measures beyond the pseudonymity of Ethereum is Truegame implementing?

Truegame: Since we care about the safety of our investors’ investments, we have enabled two-factor authorization (Google Authenticator) for additional security when accessing personal Truegame accounts.

Paxtadings: Of the advantages that your platform provides, what have your early users seen as most important?

Truegame: We’d like to highlight the following points as the most important:

– Fully implemented platform which already has players

– A team of professionals and strong advisory board with vast expertise in the industry

– Innovative game technology based on smart contracts

– Fully integrated platform that allows us to quickly implement new games on smart contract, add payment systems and third-party services, etc.

– Gaming licenses in two jurisdictions will be obtained soon

Paxtadings: How far along is the project towards its next big launch, and when can contributors expect to fully use the platform? Please feel free to share any recent updates.

Truegame: We just launched a mobile app on Google Play and our referral partner program. We’ve also translated our website into some popular languages. In near future, we will launch lotteries with real jackpots and release smart roulette and gift box games.

ICO Alert: As a non-Truegame question, we like to ask for unique predictions for the ICO and cryptocurrency space in the future. Where do you see both in the next 3–5 years?

Truegame: In our opinion, the industry itself — cryptocurrency and blockchain — will undoubtedly develop. We will see a lot of new and interesting projects coming up. Everything is just beginning.

But as the industry grows, it will become more and more mature and serious. Regulations will be tightened, barriers to entry will increase, and certain rules of the game will become clear. In the end, in our opinion, only serious projects will remain on the market. Projects whose business model cannot exist without blockchain. These are infrastructure projects, cryptocurrencies themselves, and services such as ours.

For ICOs, the years 2018–2019 will be a difficult transition period. There will be more tightening of regulation, and the cost of running an ICO will grow and become inaccessible to the average startup. Ultimately, the ICO will be only one of the tools available to attract investment, along with funds, seed investments, angel investors, and so on. Perhaps the ICO will even become more expensive and more difficult than traditional methods of raising startup funds.


Truegame ICO participants will need to undergo KYC verification. Citizens of, residents in, and entities in the United States, including any corporation or partnership created or organized in or under the laws of the United States of America, may not participate in the Truegame ICO.

ICO Information

There are a total of 210,000,000 Truegame tokens (TGAME) available during the entire ICO, representing 70% of the total TGAME supply. A hard cap of 10,300 ETH is set for the entire fundraising period. The ICO is broken into a private sale, Pre-ICO, and main ICO.

As of this writing, Pre-ICO stage 3 is active, with a 20% discount (1 ETH = 11,100 TGAME).

Private Sale Information

The TGAME private sale ran from February 2,2018–March 4, 2018, with a hard cap of 31,450,000 TGAME and a minimum buying amount of 5 ETH. The private sale hard cap was met.

Pre-ICO Information

The TGAME Pre-ICO is being conducted in three stages:

  • Pre-ICO stage 1: March 5–18, 2018–40% discount (1 ETH = 12,950 TGAME)
  • Pre-ICO stage 2: March 19–April 1, 2018–30% discount (1 ETH = 12,025 TGAME)
  • Pre-ICO stage 3: April 2–15, 2018–20% discount (1 ETH = 11,100 TGAME)

Currently accepted currencies for the Truegame ICO include ETH, BTC, and LTC.

Truegame is an ERC20 token, so it’s important that contributors use ERC20 compatible wallets to receive their TGAME tokens. Do not use an exchange wallet or the tokens may be lost.

The main ICO will begin on April 16, 2018 and will end on April 30, 2018. There are a total of 210,000,000 Truegame tokens (TGAME) available during the entire ICO, representing 70% of the total TGAME supply. A hard cap of 10,300 ETH is set for this period.

  4. Tokens will be credited to your balance in your Truegame profile dashboard
  5. (optional) Once withdrawals are available from the dashboard, you can send your TGAME tokens to an ERC20 compatible wallet you control
